We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Prevention Support Officer  to join our team. The successful candidate will be implementing and delivering training programmes tailored to meet the needs of under and over 25’s.

As a Prevention Support Officer, you will pay a crucial role in equipping the individuals we support with the necessary skills and knowledge to enhance their employability, maintain their tenancies and overall growth.

A big part of this role is implementing strategies to engage and involve people in Herefordshire, to create a supportive and inclusive environment for people to thrive and contribute to our community. We support individuals with housing needs across the county of Herefordshire.

You should be able to build good working relationships with the individuals we support. We encourage independence and help to develop skills so that they can maintain their current accommodation or go on to successfully secure and sustain accommodation.

The role covers the whole of Herefordshire so a driving licence with appropriate insurance is required.

Are you able to engage people?  Can you think outside the box?  Are you able to remain calm in times of crisis?  Can you work collaboratively with other agencies/professionals?  If yes, this role could be for you!
