We're looking for an ambitious Commercial Performance Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting and shaping our Repairs Operations service.

Working across a portfolio serving around 10,000 homes, you'll provide commercial oversight, performance insight and governance, helping operational teams understand the relationship between cost, productivity and customer outcomes. You'll be at the heart of driving better decision-making, contract performance and service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading commercial and performance oversight across repairs, voids and subcontracted services.
  • Developing meaningful dashboards and reporting that provide a clear view of service performance.
  • Monitoring contractor and supply chain performance against quality, cost and KPI measures.
  • Providing constructive challenge and insight to operational leaders, helping identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Driving value for money initiatives and supporting continuous improvement activities.
  • Working closely with Finance Business Partners to strengthen forecasting, cost control and financial visibility.
  • Establishing consistent performance frameworks and creating a single version of the truth across the service.
  • Leading a small specialist team while influencing stakeholders across the wider organisation.

What we're looking for

You will be an analytical thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to build credibility with a range of stakeholders. You'll be comfortable challenging performance, identifying opportunities and translating data into practical solutions.

Essential

  • Experience in commercial, contract or performance management within a complex operational environment.
  • Strong analytical, financial reporting and performance management skills.
  • Experience overseeing contractor and subcontractor performance.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and provide constructive challenge.
  • Experience designing reporting frameworks, dashboards and performance measures.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities across multiple service areas

Desirable

  • Experience within housing, property services, repairs or construction.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management in a repairs or maintenance environment.
  • Experience supporting operational change and service improvement programmes.

This role has been identified as suitable for hybrid working which will be a combination of home working and working from our offices, with Head office at Craven Arms and travel to other offices as required.
