The vacancy
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Younger Persons Support Officer to join our team at Bath Street Hereford.
We are looking for a positive and engaging support officer to deliver high quality support outcomes with the use of SMART support plans to enable and prepare young people to successfully transition into independence.
A big part of this role is around engagement so you should be able to build good working relationships with our young people. Your focus will be on youth engagement this will include planning and running regular resident meetings and workshops and have emphasis on youth voice, culture, and diversity.
You need to be confident when dealing with outside agencies to aid the growth of the service by developing new links and partnerships within the local community, with particular emphasis on training, employment, and work-based activities.
Are you able to engage young people? Can you think outside the box? Are you able to remain calm in times of crisis? If yes, this role could be for you!
The hours are based on a 7- day Rota on shifts 9am to 5pm, 11am to 7pm or 2pm to 10pm,
