We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of Asset Management to motivate, inspire and develop the Asset Management team. You will work on strategic forecasting and lead on our asset management strategy and asset data to influence, shape and plan investment, lead and shaping our approach to regeneration and our environmental ambition. Providing strong customer focussed leadership, you will ensure the customer voice is heard in asset management decisions. You be responsible for the procurement and delivery of investment, decent homes, decarbonisation work, compliance investment, regeneration and refurbishment schemes. As a member of Connexus Senior Management Team (SMT) provide strong visible and collective leadership across Connexus delivering our strategic vision and PRIDE values.

You will lead our technical surveying and support team to provide competent advice and assessments of portfolio issues and ensure proficient contract management and delivery of major works and investment.   

We’re looking for an individual with substantial experience in asset management, delivery of works, data capture, HHSRS, and decent homes assessments and devising mitigation plans. With experience of regeneration, refurbishment and delivery of substantial investment work, you will demonstrate strategic senior management experience in leading an asset management service, including regeneration. Commercially aware with an understanding of how to maximise opportunities for growth and investment, whilst understanding the current issues and future challenges facing the social housing sector and their impact on the asset portfolio. You will have strong contract management and procurement skills with a thorough knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation. With extensive people-management experience, you will have strategic leadership skills being innovative and results-driven and lead others to innovate and change.  Due to the nature of the role, it is essential to have a full driving licence, as the role will involve travel.

This role has been identified as suitable for hybrid working which will be a combination of home working and working from our offices with Head office at Craven Arms and travel to other offices as required.
