Corporate Accountant - Rent and Service Charges

This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

An exciting, opportunity has arisen in our Finance department for a Corporate Accountant -Rent and Service Charges.

You would be working as part of the Finance Team, being both professional and customer focused whilst delivering excellent financial services and support to the Rents and Service Charge functions within the Group.

If you can demonstrate experience of the following, then we want to hear from you!

  • Preparation of rent reviews for a wide range of tenure types compliant with current legislations whilst maximising income.
  • Co-ordinate with the management accountants for the business areas in the setting and reviews of service charges for the group.
  • System administration of a service charge module.
  • Preparation of annual budgets for Rent and Service Charges, review of variances and reforecasting of budgets throughout the year.
  • Develop regular reporting and monitoring procedures for service charge schemes.
  • Support the production of the statutory accounts including review of appropriate control accounts, completion of reconciliations, supporting schedules and review of the notes in the financial statements.

This role has been identified as suitable for hybrid working which will be a combination of home working and working from our offices with Head office at Craven Arms and travel to other offices as required.
