At Connexus, colleague safety, health and wellbeing are central to creating a workplace where people can do their best work. We’re looking for a proactive, people-focused SHE Advisor – Corporate Wellbeing and Engagement to help turn that commitment into practical, positive action across our organisation.

This varied role brings together practical safety, health and environment advice with the coordination of our corporate wellbeing and colleague engagement activity. You’ll work across the business to listen, influence and deliver initiatives that make a measurable difference—helping colleagues stay safe and well, strengthening engagement and supporting a positive workplace culture.

What you’ll do

• Provide clear, practical SHE and wellbeing advice to managers and colleagues.
• Coordinate organisation-wide wellbeing and engagement programmes, campaigns and events
• Turn colleague feedback, survey findings and performance data into focused priorities and practical improvements
• Create accessible, engaging communications and resources that encourage participation and positive action
• Support risk management, organisational learning and continuous improvement across the wider SHE agenda
• Build trusted relationships with teams, partners and specialist providers to deliver effective outcomes
• Monitor progress, evaluate impact and provide clear updates on wellbeing and engagement activity

What you’ll bring

• Relevant experience in health and safety, workplace wellbeing, colleague engagement, people services or a related field
• A sound understanding of workplace health, safety and wellbeing principles, with the judgement to apply them in practice
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage and influence colleagues at all levels
• Experience of planning and delivering initiatives, campaigns, events or projects from idea through to evaluation
• The ability to interpret feedback and data, identify meaningful trends and translate insight into action
• A well-organised, collaborative and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• A genuine commitment to creating a safer, healthier and more inclusive colleague experience
• A relevant health and safety or wellbeing qualification—or a willingness to work towards one—would be an advantage

This role has been identified as suitable for hybrid working which will be a combination of home working and working from our offices, with Head office at Craven Arms and travel to other offices as required.
